Applications and auditions are open for CBJ’s 2019 Summer Dance Programs. CBJ offers four specialized Summer Intensive programs to dancers of various levels and ages, beginning at age 9, and a Junior Company program for pre-professional dancers, ages 18 and up. Residence is also available for all programs, excluding Summer Intensive I. Intensive Short Programs
Summer Intensive I – Ages 9-11

Intensive Ballet Programs
Summer Intensive IV – Ages 16 and up
July 1 – August 2, 2019
(1, 3, and 5-week options available)
Dance seven hours a day in this intensive ballet training program with Canada’s Ballet Jörgen professionals, including company dancers. You will advance your classical technique and learn company repertoire in a program that also includes specialized coaching classes, one-on-one privates, modern, yoga, and conditioning. Junior Company—Ages 18 and up
July 1 – August 3, 2019
(1, 3, and 5-week options available)
Junior Company is for the dancer seeking their first professional full-time job in a dance company. Dancers will work with Canada’s Ballet Jörgen company dancers and Artistic Director Bengt Jörgen to create new works, hone repertoire, and put professional poise to technique, etiquette, and work habits. All CBJ company apprentice contracts are filled through this program. Acceptance into Junior Company is by audition only. Click here to learn more.
