Taught by Jennifer Robichaud, these classes will focus on solidifying jazz technique through warmups and progressions to advance alignment, flexibility and strength to improve turns, jumps, and transitions. Classes will all have an improvisational component that will allow students to delve into movement dynamics, and develop personal artistry.

Derick Robinson’s Hip Hop classes will focus on how to keep your grooves alive, along with finding strength, texture and purpose in our movement. Dancers will be doing this through a series of warm up drills, groove/movement exercises, choreography and of course some freestyle to top it off. With a combination of old school/new jack swing, popping, house and Hip hop foundation, dancers will be working on the fundamentals of this style, but above all the focal point of his classes are to make sure that everyone is having a great time and living their lives to the fullest. What better way to stay in shape than busting a sweat while dancing to some groovy music!
In Lindsay Aquin’s Hip Hop classes, students will experience a warm up that sets a vibe for the class. This allows them to get in the Hip Hop mindset, stretch and warm up the body, and break down simple grooves and isolations. Every class, students will learn a short combination. We explore and meld different street styles and set a direction and setting where this choreography could possibly be performed in the professional world. This class is designed to be encouraging and boost student’s confidence. We take time to watch and learn from each other and create a safe space for improvisation and freestyle.
Yoga offers a wonderful form of recovery and cross-training for dancers. This class will also give students the information to understand the mechanics of their bodies and the differences between passive and active stretching. This class is geared toward dancers but is open to anyone looking to add a little more movement into their schedule.
This class is designed for people of all ages who are looking to add a little more movement into their lives. Debbie Wilson will lead participants through a gentle class to create mobility in your muscles and joints, offering various adaptations for those at different stages in their practice. Participants are welcome to keep their cameras on or off during class.
