Boys Who Dance Town Hall
September 18 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
CBJ presents the very first public town hall dedicated to “Boys Who Dance”. How do we support boys in their dance journey – as their family, their educators and their community? And how do we change public’s perception of boys who dance, how do we combat public’s bias & bigotry? The panel composed of healthcare expert, educators, artists and students will answer these and many other questions. We will be also taking questions from the audience. Whether you are a parent or sibling of aspiring male dancer, a school teacher or principal, an established professional dancer or a young dance student, a healthcare professional, or just an arts lover and performance attendee – join us for this important and overly due discussion. Together, we will find practical solutions to create a supportive and inspiring environment for all the boys and help them realize their dreams.
