Toronto – General Auditions (GBD/SUM IV)

Time:
10:30am registration starts, classes 11:00am – 3:15pm approximately (including interviews)
SCHEDULE
10:30AM – Registration (P101, P105, P106, SUMIV)
Use this time to warm-up and be ready for class to start promptly at 11:00am.
11:00AM to 12:00PM – Ballet Class for P101, P105, P106, SUMIV
12:00PM to 12:30PM – Pointe for P105, SUM IV
12:30PM- Interviews for SUM IV
12:45PM to 1:30PM – Jazz for P101, P105, P106
1:30PM to 2:00PM– Q&A with current students and grads
2:00PM to 3:15PM – George Brown Dance Interviews
Audition Program Options
George Brown Dance:
P101 – Dance Performance Preparation
P105 – Dance Performance: Classical Ballet & Contemporary
P106 – Commercial Dance: Jazz & Hip Hop
Summer IV – Summer intensive for 16+
Junior Company – Dancers 18+
What to bring: You need to bring a headshot and dance resume to the audition. Please hand them in at registration.
*If you are auditioning for Ballet Jörgen’s Summer Intensive IV, you will also need to submit a dance photograph.
*If you are auditioning for any of the George Brown Dance Programs, you will also need to submit a one-page essay outlining why you wish to join the program.

Please note, if you are paying day of only exact cash or cheque will be accepted and the audition fee for GBD will be $65. If you pay online, please bring proof of payment to the audition.
There is no charge for Summer Intensive IV auditions.
