Ballet Jörgen Canada is looking for 6-12 student dancers and 2 theatre students to participate with the company in the March 16th, 2013 performance of Swan Lake at Centre in the Square.

The cast is to be assembled from local area students auditioning for roles on
Tuesday March 12, 2013
6:00pm to 8:30pm at THE MUSEUM
10 King Street West – Kitchener, ON

Candidates need to learn choreography quickly, listen well, follow directions and retain them easily. Their roles will include 18th century peasants & children, Ballroom Attendants, Fortress Guards, Court Pages and Ladies in Waiting.

Eligibility Criteria

Peasants and Ladies in Waiting – 3 to 4 roles
15 years old and up, adult-like
Height: 5’4”- 5’8”, Waist: 27”- 34”, Chest: 32”- 37”

Guards & Ballroom Attendants – 2 to 6 roles
15 years old and up, adult-like
Male or Female
Height: 5’6”- 6’1”, Waist: 30”- 35”, Chest: 35” – 41”
The two Guard roles are to be filled by theatre students.

Pages & Children 3 – 6 roles
12 – 14 years old
Male or female
Height: 4’11”- 5’3”, Waist: 23”- 26”, Chest: 27”- 31”
