Jess is from a small village called Dorridge in England where she began her ballet training at the age of 3. When she was 11, she trained with The Royal Ballet School Associates, and was then accepted into Elmhurst Ballet School, where she lived and trained for 8 years. In her final years at Elmhurst, she performed in The Sleeping Beauty, performed a piece co-created with Wayne McGregor’s Company for her graduate showcase, and was selected to perform in Carlos Acosta’s The Nutcracker with The Birmingham Royal Ballet in December 2020. Outside of ballet, Jess enjoys reading books on philosophy, playing the guitar, and practicing Buddhism and meditation in her daily life.
