Laeititia Clement

Laetitia Clement graduated with Honours from L’ École supérieure de danse du Québec and soon after joined Les Grands Ballets Canadians as an apprentice. She then worked as a guest with the National Ballet of Maryland, The Banff Center for the Arts, and Tokyo Disney in Japan. In 2001, she was offered a company position with the Alberta Ballet in Calgary where she became a principal dancer a few years later.

Laetitia has performed and toured extensively in France, China, Japan, USA, and Canada for over 15 years as a professional ballerina. Her final performance took place in Vancouver while dancing in the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Soon after leaving the stage, Laetitia was invited to teach in the Professional Division of the School of Alberta Ballet.

Laetitia brings 18 years of teaching experience to George Brown Dance and Canada’s Ballet Jörgen. Recently, Laetitia opened her own school, L’Arabesque Ballet, where she teaches kids of all ages and presents them to RAD examination. Laetitia as also recently gotten certified in the Dance for Parkinson ( Dance for PD Method) and now offers dance classes for people with Parkinson Disease and other disabilities. She is also Silver Seans Licensee and teaches senior dancers. She is known to bring the best out of her students in a joyful, inspiring and positive manner.
