Company Dancer

Omar trained at the National Ballet School of Cuba, graduating as a Ballet Dancer – Professor. Omar Joined the Cuban National Ballet in 2016 as a soloist. While dancing with the Cuban National Ballet he performed all of the Company´s repertoire. Omar’s roles included “The Bullfighters” in Don Quixote, “Pas de Six” in Swan Lake, “Friends” in Giselle and “the Russian Dance” in The Nutcracker. He has also participated as a soloist in contemporary choreography by Anabel López Ochoa, Alexei Ratmansky, Ricardo Amarante and Cathy Martson. While with the Cuban National Ballet, Omar  performed internationally in Mexico, Spain, China, the United States, France, Italy, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Ouerto Rico, Canada and the Dominican Republic.
