Canada’s Ballet Jörgen holding auditions for The Nutcracker in Ottawa

[Ottawa, ON – September 17, 2014] Aspiring dancers between the ages of 8 and 17 have an opportunity to perform on stage in Ottawa alongside professional dancers this December. Canada’s Ballet Jörgen holds its auditions for The Nutcracker, A Canadian Tradition on Saturday, October 4 between 8:30 am and 12 noon at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre (Bells Corners).  All boys and girls with dance training are welcome.

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen brings professional classical ballet to communities across Canada.  The company is returning to Ottawa this holiday season to present The Nutcracker, A Canadian Tradition at both Centrepointe Theatre and Shenkman Arts Centre for five performances December 13 through 15. With The Nutcracker Youth Program, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen gives young dancers the opportunity to perform with a professional dance company and gain invaluable performance experience.

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen invites dancers of all abilities to its auditions and welcomed children from Propeller Dance and the CNIB to the Ottawa youth cast in 2013-2014.
